Work Photo Ready privacy policy

Effective date: 5 October 2026. Publisher: Pixel Works Software S.R.L. App: Work Photo Ready for iPhone, iPad and Android, application ID com.dreamatronics.workphotoready.

The short version

Photo processing and report creation happen on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your job photos, notes, project names or measured locations. There is no account, advertising, tracking or remote analytics in this app. You control when to share a file. Optional address lookup, App Store or Google Play purchases and operating-system services have their own network behavior, described below.

Photos, camera and location

The camera is used when you choose to take a work photo. The app does not request microphone access or record video. The system photo picker gives access only to photos you select. A file chosen through Files is copied into app storage; its source is not changed. On Apple devices, add-only photo-library permission is requested when you choose to save copies to Photos. On Android, a completed copy is inserted through the system media store. Neither platform requires permission to read your whole library.

Location permission is optional and limited to use of the app. When enabled, coordinates, the location sample's timestamp and accuracy can be attached to a captured photo. The app continues to take photos if location is unavailable, approximate or denied. It does not request background location or use locations for advertising.

Imported photos can already contain date and GPS metadata. The app marks imports and keeps the available source metadata separate from the import date. It does not fill missing capture information using your current location or the current time. A job address you type is your own entry, not a measured GPS fix.

Optional address lookup

When you choose Look Up Address, the recorded coordinates may be sent through the device's Apple or Android geocoding service to obtain an address. This can require internet. We do not receive that request and do not use it for analytics. The platform provider's privacy practices apply to its service. Coordinates and manually entered job addresses can still be used when offline; a fresh street address is not guaranteed without a network connection.

Local storage, recovery and backups

The app stores projects, original photo files, frozen date/location metadata, notes, explicit before/after relationships, logos, settings and generated reports in its own storage. Original files are separate from generated copies and are not overwritten by stamp edits. Recently Deleted retains removed photos and projects for 30 days unless you explicitly permanently delete them.

On Apple devices, work media uses iOS file protection and may be included in device backups according to the owner's iOS/iCloud settings. On Android, work media is app-private and automatic backup/device transfer is disabled. This is not an app-operated team cloud or synchronization service. On either platform, you may create a manual .workphoto backup through Files. That backup contains project originals and original metadata, including location when present, even if an earlier client report omitted location. Protect backup files and choose their storage destination carefully.

Deleting the app removes its local work data, subject to any copies or Apple system backups you kept. The free-job allowance and completed job identifier are stored in the Apple device Keychain or Android app-private preferences to support retry accounting. They do not contain photos, notes, addresses or customer names. Android app-private preferences are removed when the app is uninstalled.

Files you save or share

You can choose whether location is visible on stamps and reports, included as GPS image metadata, or omitted everywhere in an export. Removing GPS metadata does not remove location already drawn onto a photo; choose the location-free rendition to remove both. Location-free ZIP packages exclude GPS-bearing original files rather than silently include them unchanged.

Photos, the Android media store, Files, cloud drives, email and other destinations you select handle files according to their own policies. A completed system share operation does not guarantee that a recipient received the file. Copies already shared cannot be removed remotely by this app.

Purchases and diagnostics

Apple or Google processes purchases and subscriptions. StoreKit or Google Play Billing provides verified entitlement information so the app can unlock Pro and restore purchases. We do not receive payment-card details. The applicable store provider may process information for purchase, account and fraud-prevention services under its own policy.

Content-free technical diagnostics may be written to the device's system log. Logs do not include photo contents, notes, customer names, addresses, coordinates or full filenames, and the app does not send a remote analytics stream. If you voluntarily contact support, we receive the information you choose to include in that correspondence. Please do not send confidential client photographs or precise location information unless it is necessary and you are entitled to share it.

Records are not independent certification

Times and coordinates are device-recorded or imported metadata. They are not independently verified time or certified evidence. A corruption-check digest does not certify when or where a photo was taken.
