PDF Ready privacy policy
Effective date: 29 September 2026. Publisher: Pixel Works Software S.R.L.
This policy covers PDF Ready for iPhone and iPad, bundle ID com.dreamatronics.pdfready, including its share extension and Shortcuts actions.
The short version
PDF Ready turns your photos, scans and PDFs into upload-ready PDFs on your device. We never receive your files, and the app collects no personal data.
What the app reads
Only the photos and files you choose. The system photo picker gives PDF Ready just the photos you select, not your photo library. Files you pick in the Files browser, or share to PDF Ready, are copied into the app to be processed; the originals are never changed or deleted.
The camera, only while you scan with the document scanner. Your photo library, only to add images when you choose “Save to Photos” (add-only permission); PDF Ready cannot see your library. A PDF’s password, only when you type it to open that PDF; it is used on the device and never stored.
What stays on your device
Working copies of your pages while you prepare a PDF (removed when you finish or discard it, and cleaned up at the next launch); your last three PDFs, so you can share them again (you can clear them in the app); your size-limit settings, saved presets, and the date of your free PDF, so the free PDF is counted once. All of this lives in the app’s own storage on your device and is deleted when you delete the app. Saving or sharing a PDF through Files, iCloud, email or another app is subject to the privacy practices of the destination you choose.
What we collect
Nothing. PDF Ready sends no analytics and contains no advertising, tracking or crash-reporting code, no third-party SDKs and no account system. It does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across apps or websites. Coarse technical events, such as that a PDF was created, are written only to the device’s own system log and are not transmitted to us.
Photo details in your PDFs
By default, location, capture date and camera details are left out of the images inside the PDFs you create. You can choose to keep them; if you do, the PDF may contain personal information, so review your settings before sharing. A PDF still records when it was created and which app created it.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. The app uses StoreKit to learn whether Pro is active on your Apple Account and to restore purchases; we never see your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to purchases and App Store services.
Children
PDF Ready is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.
